How To

Roundhouse Darts in one minute: start a game, throw your darts, tap in what landed, confirm the turn. The app does every piece of arithmetic. The rest of this page is the specifics.

Start a game

  • Open the app and tap New Game.
  • Pick one of the twelve games from the tile grid.
  • Set the number of players — 1 to 4 for most games, 2 to 4 for Killer.
  • Type each player's name. Names must be distinctive: your playing history is recorded per name on this device.
  • Tap Start Game.

Score a turn

  • After each player's three darts, use the entry pad at the bottom of the screen. The pad only offers darts that were possible in that round — you cannot record an impossible score.
  • Missed the board with a dart? Tap Miss.
  • Wrong tap? Tap the dart in the slot row to clear it and re-enter.
  • Tap Confirm Turn. Nothing counts until you confirm.
  • Pass the phone to the next player — the app shows whose turn it is.

Mistakes and interruptions

  • Undo Last Turn (top right) deletes the most recent turn and rebuilds the score from what remains. The board never lies.
  • If the app is closed mid-turn, your staged darts are still there when you reopen — resume exactly where you left off.
  • One unfinished game at a time; starting a new one asks about the old one first.

Finish a game

  • When the final round is confirmed, the summary screen shows the standings, the winner, and a round-by-round scorecard.
  • Save and Finish records the game to your on-device history.
  • Rematch starts the same game again with the same players and rules.

Your history

  • Every completed game is kept on the device — scorecards, per-player percentiles, and trends over time.
  • Percentiles compare you with your own past games, never with other players.
  • Everything stays local. No account, no cloud, no data collection. Deleting the app deletes the record.

The twelve games in one line each

  • RoundhouseDarts — nine rounds, descending. Miss the target with all three and your total is halved.
  • Cricket — close 20 down to 15 plus the bull; score on segments your opponent hasn't closed.
  • 501 — race to exactly zero, finish on a double.
  • 301 (Double In) — nothing counts until you open with a double.
  • Around the Clock — 1 to 20 then the bull, in order.
  • Last Call — seven draining glasses; the bell round doubles your hit and spills your miss.
  • Shanghai — single, double and triple of the target in one turn wins on the spot.
  • The Gauge — scoring raises your pressure; blow the valve and lose the turn's take.
  • Roundhouse — bank the lit wedge or steal from the leader as the wheel turns.
  • Killer — claim a number, earn your double, take rivals' lives. 2-4 players.
  • Count-Up — eight plain rounds; every dart banks its value; highest total wins.
  • Baseball — nine innings plus the bull; runs are your multiplier; blank the 7th and your total is halved.
